Tony Robbins said something that I consider really profound;- "The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday." He was right, as a person you should have an aim to outgrow yourself in every area. The truth is, You are your own competition and everyday you wake up should be a reminder for you to pursue knowledge and habits that improve your potential.
Why Self-upgradation?🤔
The world is constantly changing and you remaining at the same level everyday will not help you in any way, hence you should upgrade. 🤠Professionally, you need to prove yourself better and worthy of your salary if you are employed, and if you are self-employed an upgrade is also necessary.
You might be stuck as to where to begin.🥲 Well, where there's a will, there's also a way. These days we have vast knowledge at our fingertips, use that to your advantage. Don't just be someone who just scrolls or pass by information. Study and learn about the things that inspires you. Use that knowledge towards your development. It could be learning a new course, or engaging yourself in stuff that motivates you to be better. Do those things, and you will thank yourself when you see how much you have upgraded.
Learning new stuff and puting them into action can be exhausting at times. It is important to know the journey to upgrading will not be as easy as saying;“l want to upgrade myself in every manner.” There will be challenges along the way. But don't fret. View every challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow, and know that setbacks as part of the growth process.
Chasing change without reflecting on results can sometimes lead nowhere. As you work toward growth, take a moment to pause, assess your efforts, and identify what’s working and what isn’t. This will help you focus your energy where it matters most. The year’s end may be just a month away, but you still have time to make the progress you’re aiming for. If you haven’t been working toward an upgrade, remember, it’s never too late to start. You’ve got this!
