Moving forward, today's spotlight is on the Mamba Mentality. Whether you're a basketball fan or not, you must have heard of the great athlete, Kobe Bryant. For context, he was one of the greatest to have graced a basketball court, and played for Los Angeles Lakers. What you might not have noticed, is just like most successful people, Kobe had a strategy that helped him acheive all the amazing things known and recognised for and, this is the Mamba Mentality.
The Mamba Mentality is a thinking process that allows you to create your reality regardless of the surrounding setbacks you're currently experiencing. If you're already asking how at this point, you're ready to experience a mind blowing turn around in that area of interest.
Give It Your Heart:
In whatever you do, the moment you give your mind to it, every form of excuse, leaves at will. Kobe Bryant in one of his letters to basket ball, he wrote; βYou asked for my hustle/I gave you my heart.β When you give your heart to it, there are no boundaries to what you can achieve. Bryant further stated that βeverything negative β pressure, challenges β is all an opportunity for me to rise.β What is that challenge or pressure that's holding you back? Give your heart to what you do and see them leave.
Build a good team:
A lot of people always believe it is them against the world when in fact, the world is waiting to celebrate them. The moment you assemble a good team, you're halfway done any task. The gift of different ideas, nourishes that career or project to maturity. Stop doing it alone, build a team to help you. Even the king of the jungle is vulnerable outside its pack.
Create your Own Luck:
What we call luck most of the time, is opportunity meeting preparedness. Position yourself for the kind of luck you want by building the right capacity, network and skills. Go to the right places and don't forget to develop your self esteem. Don't you ever play victim to anyone, make strictly positive confessions. Try this consistently for a period of time, and come back here to testify.
